The Lasting Connection

The Lasting Connection

A Toy Photography Project by: Jumping Jack Productions

During his 6th grade school year at Georgia Cyber Academy, an art contest was launched for the students. The theme behind the contest was, “How Do I Connect with the World?”

Jack Adams began brainstorming and thinking; thinking and brainstorming. Finally, after a few days, Jack had an idea. It would combine his enjoyment of toy photography with some photo manipulation techniques inside of Photoshop. The problem was, Jack didn’t know those techniques.

Jack spent a week straight, after school, on the weekend, and even on his day off for President’s Day, learning the Photoshop techniques and tools that he would need in order to accomplish his vision. One week later, the digital art was created.

What is the concept behind the picture: That there is freedom and hope for new life found within the Bible. Jack, connects to the world through the love he discovered in God’s Word and offers if freely to anyone he meets. This is a picture of inspiration and great love. The final picture is below, along with the video of how Jack put it all together. Enjoy, be encouraged, and if you want to contact the Jumping Jack Productions team to find out more about how the Bible can offer hope of new life, please use the contact form and let us know. We would love to connect with you and share more about this.

“One Book to Rule Them All,
One Book for Reading,
One Book to Photograph,
and in the darkness, free them.”

This toy photography picture by the Jumping Jack Productions team was originally forged from the idea of creating a picture for one of Jack’s 5th grade teachers who happens to be a big fan of Lord of the Rings. With the Gollum toy purchased, and some handmade props to go with it, the team created this ultimate homage to Lord of the Rings and the best book ever written…the Bible.
